Interview: Stooshe with Digital Spy

Currently undecided on what their next single would be, Stooshe's Courtney recieved a call from Digital Spy to speak about their plans on breaking America, debut album and more.
Read some excerpts below:
Congratulations on the success of 'Black Heart'; you must be thrilled.
"Thank you very much! We really didn't expect it to be this well-received. To see it hold in the charts and even climb after a few weeks was just incredible. It's nice to know people are getting into us as a group."
It's a huge song; are there plans to take it to America?
"We'd love to! There's talks about us going to promote in America next January. We're going to see how it goes obviously because taking on the US is obviously a big commitment. Hopefully things will take off out there. If they're willing to have us then we'll see them out there next year!"
Are you going back out to the US to shoot your new music video then?
"Yes we are, but we don't know what song we're filming a video for yet! We thought we knew, but in the last few days it's all changed again. We'd been pretty set on the next single for a while, but now it's all up in the air. It'll still have that similar Motown theme of 'Black Heart' as a lot of our music sounds quite old-school."
Is the album still on course to come out this October?
"I think it's more like mid October now. Because 'Black Heart' has done well and radio are still playing it so everything has been pushed back a bit. Things always change though so don't hold me to that! We recorded a couple new songs recently with Chris Braid (David Guetta, The Saturdays) and First Born (Nicki Minaj), who are both amazing producers."
