Album Chart Playlist: Rihanna vs. Nicki Minaj

The controversy queens go for chart supremacy this week as both of their albums are released today. Nicki Minaj re-released her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album re titled 'The Re-Up' which features an additional 8 songs including her promo single, The Boys and her current single, Freedom. On the other hand, Rihanna released her seventh consecutive album, Unapologetic which features the Top 10, Diamonds, the likes of Eminem, Kanye West and David Guetta and a cheeky sample of Ginuwine's Pony.
Well my laziness has just kicked in so I will not be writing up a full review, instead I'll showcase my favourite tracks off the latter below:
Jump

Up In Flames
Stay (feat. Mikky Ekko)
Hell Yeah (feat. Parker)
Right Now
Other stand-out tracks (from Unapologetic): What Now, Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary, No Love Allowed.
Stand-out tracks (from The Re-Up): Freedom, High School

Clearly Nicki Minaj has continued to listen to her critics when focusing with her re-release as she has gone back to her rawness with her mix-tape rhymes and in terms of its production. On the other hand, Rihanna delivers a messy bag of songs which some seem forced and rushed but songs like Stay and What Now really prove her growth as a vocalist compared to Fresh Off The Runway which is one hot ratchet ass mess, but I like it "/.
Unapologetic: 3/5
The Re-Up: 3/5
What do you think?
