Charts: Alexandra Burke Flops...

Whilst Gary Barlow and his genius ways comfortably sits at number one for a second consecutive week with 'Sing', Alexandra Burke's "comeback" album fails miserably at 18 on the Album Charts.
We can't put the full blame on Alexandra Burke as both of her singles have had trouble getting airplay in recent months despite Elephant peaking at no. 3 on the UK singles chart. It was reported in recent weeks that Global Radio which owns the majority of radio stations in the UK haven't been adding Burke's songs on any playlists, this may be due to her movement from Syco to RCA Records so Alexandra has been relying on the social media and TV interviews to promote.
Look at the Top 10 Charts for both singles and albums:

  1. This is just sad. For me Alexandra is a superstar. I don't understand why radio don't wanna play her music anymore.
    She deserves more!
