Free Concert: Nicki Minaj shows out.

I guess she does stick to her promises. 

Remember that "little" thing that took place in New York a couple months ago which led to the whole Young Money crew to drop out? Then after Nicki vented her anger out on twitter she promised that she will be giving back to her fans by doing a free concert? Well in courtesy of Pepsi which she is currently the face of, she held a free concert at the infamous Roseland Ballroom where the likes of Beyonce, Nirvana and Madonna had performed to give back to those who had previously missed out. It was also shown live in Times Square. She pulled out all the stops by inviting the likes of Drake to Foxy Brown on stage to accompany her. Watch some performances below:

G.O.O.D. Music member and one half of Clipse, Pusha T stopped by Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex's show to speak on a few topics and even dropped a quick freestyle whilst in the studio. Find out his response to the Exodus controversy and why he didn't reply to Lil Wayne's diss towards him.

On his song “Exodus 23:1,” which is believed to be aimed at Drake: “I was surprised by anybody, Wayne specifically, answering ‘Exodus.’ I’ve never seen one record that didn’t say a name cause so much of a firestorm.”

On what he thought of Wayne’s “Ghoulish” response: “It was horrible. It was trash. It wasn’t great.”

On why he hasn’t responded: “I haven’t said anything about it ’cause I didn’t think it was good enough to respond to.”

Let This Shit Die Already: Lil Wayne Address Hot 97 Situation

Speaking to MTV News, Lil Wayne finally tells us why he decided to pull Nicki and the rest of the Young Money crew (excluding Tyga) out of the Summer Jam lineup. Read what he said below:

“That’s a female; first and foremost Nicki Minaj is a female, I don’t know what anyone else believes, but I believe females deserve the ultimate respect at all times, no matter when or where or how.”

He continued on to say..

"As soon as she called me and told me she felt disrespected, I just declined everything, I pulled her from the show because ... no person that works with me will be disrespected in my presence as long as I'm on this planet. I expect the red carpet, in her manner; the pink carpet should be laid out for her, It's just an executive move, no salt, no bad feelings, no hard feelings." 

So there you have it. Nicki felt disrespected. Lil Wayne thinks females should be "respected" at all times except from when it comes to his music since we all become "bitches and hoes". BOOM! Now can everybody just let this shit burn.

Nicki at Summer Jam '10

So it was announced that Nicki Minaj along with the YMCMB crew would be headlining this years Hot 97 Summer Jam and that it would've been a historic event, according to the mistress herself but all the tables had turned on her when she was apparently 'disrespected' by two of Hot 97s DJs, Peter Rosenberg and FunkMaster Flex. This had led to leader Lil Wayne pulling the whole Young Money crew out of the lineup even though Tyga still performed minutes after Tunechi's announcement (maybe he didn't get the memo on time). Watch the two subliminally diss her below:
