Would you believe that Teairra Mari was a protege of Jay Z and was believed to be the next best thing before Rihanna came and snatched her career? Now she's the queen of mixtapes whilst Rihanna is talking that talk and smoking that kush. 

And for Ameriie well,....she's somewhere.

Ameriie is one of my favorite artists. I've loved her ever since she released '1 Thing' back in 2005 and its such ashame that she is so underatted; I mean she has the image, the voice and her music is amazing as it doesn't sound like this dance/electro-pop trash you hear on the radios these days. So why has she not lived up to the same success as her counterparts? Primarily because she clearly doesn't receive the maximum support from her team or label otherwise they would be promoting her ass like RocNation does with Rihanna (just an example). It's so unfortunate that talented musicians these days don't get the recognition they deserve because we always give in to this autotuned bullshit that only sounds good cause of the instrumental. SMH
