The time has come. BET Awards will be shown on BET from 6pm EST and 8pm on July 2nd for UK viewers. TBH I don't really care who wins but here are my predictions anyways.

BET to Enlist "Top Divas" For Whitney Houston Tribute

Along with Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, BET is set to enlist music's "top divas" to pay tribute to the legendary Whitney Houston yet these names have yet to be announced. Other performers who will be performing at the event ranges along the likes of Kanye West to Chris Brown and Usher.

In recent years, BET have gained a reputation for building up these "amazing tributes" then failing to live up to the hype (e.g. BET Awards 2009) so hopefully they get the right people like Mariah Carey not Keri Flopson.

Appearance: Nicki Minaj On 106&Park

Still on the promotional train, Nicki Minaj Roman Zolanski was generous enough to lift up BET's declining ratings up by making a special appearance on 106 & Park yesterday. She sat down with Terrence for a interview discussing her current sophomore album then kicked off her high Alexander McQueen heels to deliver a mini performance showcasing her new material of PF:RR for her Roman Empire.
